Things to consider:
-Reiki attunements activate our receptivity to Reiki energy, allowing a practitioner to channel Reiki and offer it to self and others. The attunement process can be a time of spiritual introspection, and it’s helpful to be in a place mentally, emotionally, and spiritually that allows for reflection. Wonderful healing experiences, and increased intuitive activity, are common. Students are encouraged to consider the timing of the trainings and determine if they feel inclined to hold the space required for spiritual expansion.
-While there is no regulation surrounding Reiki, it is best practice to allow 21-days following an attunement before practicing on others. As a teacher Cat asks that students not charge for Reiki, or exchange with anyone outside of family and close friends, until they are through the 21-day attunement process of Level 2. Cat believes this energetically prepares and protects a student in productive and meaningful ways; we are best poised to support others when we prioritize our own spiritual integrations. Students should be prepared to honor this practice when signing up to work with Cat as an instructor.
