Walking Through The Eclipse Gateway
We’re moving through what many astrologers call the eclipse gateway, the stretch between the Pisces lunar eclipse on September 7th and the Virgo solar eclipse on September 21st (September’s full astrology forecast here).
In the eclipse gateway, karma accelerates, timelines shift, and the future leans closer. Eclipses align with the lunar nodes, which symbolize the soul’s larger story and intentions. As Saturn opposes the upcoming solar eclipse at 29° Virgo, it issues a familiar call for clear-eyed responsibility.
A Sun–Moon opposition to Saturn can feel like some part of us is being told to grow up. It doesn’t have to feel harsh, but the more we avoid or resist, the sharper it can feel. Saturn is ultimately asking for honest discernment and action, challenging us to be frank about what we can control and to surrender what we can’t.
The paradox of Saturn in Pisces is that our most meaningful work comes through surrender rather than control. Trust that what lies beyond your grasp is still being handled, and watch as new opportunities open when you do.
